Inwood Estates
100% Chardonnay
from 100% Dallas County Vineyards
An Historic and Unique Accomplishment
For the first time, Inwood Estates produced a 100%
Chardonnay wine in 2010. Equally astonishing, all of the
grapes in this wine were produced in
Dallas County, Texas
and some from within the City of Dallas.

Winemaker Dan Gatlin has been often asked about the
quality of the Chardonnay he produces for the Inwood
Palomino-Chardonnay. He has been very forthright in many
previous public forums that he views this Texas Chardonnay
solely as a blender for his Palomino. While always a good
wine, he never felt that it brought something to the
marketplace that is rare enough and artistically
differentiated from wines already in widespread distribution.
The ability to produce a wine stylistically uncommon to the
production of all other American wines is a major parameter
which must be met for a wine to bear the Inwood label.

Now, for the first time in his 30 years of viticulture and
winemaking, he has produced a Chardonnay unique enough
to be worthy of the Inwood Estates name. With it's crisp,
green apple fruit, barely discernable oak, and mineral stone
complexity, the wine bears almost no resemblance to the
common vanilla-oak-butter formula in other American
Chardonnay.

Even more, it doesn't take much imagination to realize that
a wine originating entirely from any county in America which
contains a major metropolitan area would be a significant
feat. A wine of this quality would be one in a million. A wine
of this quality in the backyard of Dallas, Texas will be truly
hard to believe.

Released in December of 2011, only about 83 cases were
produced. Locavore fans will agree that it gives new
meaning to the term 'locally grown', as people everywhere
grasp the importance of Eat Local, Drink Local. This
inaugural release will be expanded in future years where
wines from the 2 vineyards will be separated and bottled as
single-vineyard Chardonnays. However, there is little doubt
that the first vintage, 2010, will be remembered for making
history.

This is an unique opportunity to own a piece of history, or to
give an amazing gift to the oenophile who thinks he has
every rarity in his cellar, or to obtain the most unique
corporate gift imaginable.

an evening of at least 5 All Dallas Wines including
Chardonnays, Cabernets and Rose. This first-ever
All Dallas

will be historic. Some of the wines were made
in such minute quantities that they will never be sold to the
public and only enjoyed at one dinner.
